HWK 349 Rigid molded, medium coefficient material.  The material is available in flat slabs or other flat shapes. HWK 349 exhibits good strength.  It is recommended for use in light to medium duty gear tooth facings or notched drivers.  HWK 349 may be used in dry or wet applications. 0.39 0.43 .47 FF
HWK 392 Rigid molded, medium high coefficient material.  The material has good friction stability, fade resistance and recovery. HWK 392 is a general purpose material recommended for light to medium duty use in band and shoe applications.  It is also supplied in flat fully cured slabs 0.43 0.36 .44 FF
HWK 412 Rigid molded, medium coefficient material.  It has exceptional friction stability and fade resistance. HWK 412 is a good dimensional stability allowing it to be molded to size and is easily machined.  It is also supplied in flat fully cured slabs.  HWK 412 has been successfully used in applications such as automotive disc pads and industrial pads, pucks and rings. 0.35 0.34 .36 EE
HWK 431 Premium rigid molded medium coefficient, heavy duty semi metallic material.  The dark gray material exhibits very high compressive strengths. HWK 431 exhibits excellent fade resistance and friction stability, making it a good choice for internally molded disc brakes and blocks. 0.34 0.33 .35 EE
HWK 443 Rigid molded, high coefficient material.  It is a versatile material for industrial use. HWK 443 offers good dimensional stability allowing it to be machined It is also supplied in flat fully cured slabs.  HWK 443 has been successfully used in applications such as press brakes, misc. rings, and other disc brake applications. 0.57 0.49 .55 HG
HWK 449 Rigid molded, high coefficient material.  The material has excellent friction stability and wear resistance. HWK 449 is recommended for use against softer mating surfaces such as copper, commonly used in water cooled brakes and clutches, flat slabs, arced segments mold to shape. 0.51 0.51 .54 GG
HWK 453 Rigid molded, high coefficient material with brass chips.  It is a versatile material for industrial use. HWK 453 offers good dimensional stability allowing it to be molded to size and is easily machined.  It is also supplied in flat, fully cured slabs.  HWK 453 has been successfully used in applications such as press brakes, misc. rings, facings, and other misc. disc brake applications. 0.57 0.49 .55 HG
HWK 549 Rigid molded, medium low coefficient material.  The material has excellent friction stability and wear resistance. HWK 549 is recommended for use against softer mating surfaces such as copper or aluminum.  The material can be supplied in flat slabs, arced segments, or molded to shape.  This lower coefficient material is typically used in applications with copper for tensioning situations. 0.20 0.18 .22 DD
HWK 573 Rigid molded, medium-high coefficient material. It has excellent fade and recovery characteristics and coefficient stability. HWK 573 is a heavy duty, multi-purpose material recommended for use in industrial and off-road applications.        
HWK 603 Rigid molded medium high coefficient material.  It is supplied in segments or slabs. HWK 603 has excellent fade and recovery characteristics and coefficient stability.  HWK 603 is recommended for use in drum linings. HWK 629 Rigid molded, medium-high coefficient material.  It is supplied in segments or slabs.  HWK-629 has excellent fade and recovery characteristics and coefficient stability. HWK 643 Rigid molded, medium-high coefficient material.  The reddish brown material has excellent strength characteristics. HWK 649 Rigid molded, non metallic, medium high coefficient material.  The material has a high cold static and a very stable dynamic coefficient at all temperatures. HWK 649 is for use with off road band brake applications. 0.46 0.46 .47 GG
HWK 692 Rigid molded, medium high coefficient material.  The material has excellent strength characteristics. HWK 2000 Heavy duty composite woven from yarns containing brass wire. This dense,tough material exhibits exceptional resistence to heat and compression under load. HWK 2000 has excellent fade and recovery stability. HWK 2000 is suitable for light to heavy duty service with steel and cast iron mating surfaces. It is also suitable for light to medium duty operation in oil. Applications include winches, cranes, hoists, and other heavy duty industrial applications. 0.53 0.53 .53 GG
HWK 3000 Flexible molded lining available in a roll form. It is lining becomes firm with final curing. It has excellent fade and recovery stability and good rivet strength in both it's semi-cured and cured states. HWK 3000 is suitable for light to medium duty in dry applications.
